Oldest doc on Iran cinema; any idea?

Oldest document proving first trace of cinema in Iran has been revealed in Tehran ceremony.

Cinema Museum of Iran unveiled the “Oldest Document about the Presence of Cinema in Iran” with researchers, filmmakers and officials in attendance.

The proof dates back to the era of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar as the first trace of Iranian cinema registered at the turn of the 19th century.

The Cinema Museum of Iran was launched in September 1994, aiming to collect, safeguard, record and provide proper presentation of the Iranian cinematic heritage.

The showcase has been proceeding with activities in the current format ever since and receives a large number of visitors from cinema enthusiasts to researchers every day.
